Wendy was born in West Witton, North Yorkshire and now lives a short distance away in Carlton. She first started work at Barclays Bank in Hawes and worked in various local branches, before moving to work a stint in a Barclays branch in London.

Wendy returned to the Dales when expecting her first child. She started working for her father at Yoredale Investment Services in Leyburn. She qualified as a Financial Adviser and has been providing financial advice to clients in the local area ever since. Wendy achieved Chartered Financial Planner status in 2015 and prides herself in offering overall holistic financial planning to all her clients, advising on inheritance tax planning, retirement planning, and all areas of financial advice.

Wendy likes to be involved in the community, enjoys walking in the Dales, travelling and spending time with her family.
