Simon has been providing investment and Inheritance Tax planning strategies to high net worth individuals for over 30 years. 

He started his career at an international firm of Chartered Accountants rising to Head of the Tax and Private Client Team during his 10 year stay.

An 8 year Board Directorship at Thomson’s Wealth Management followed, culminating in the successful sale of Thomson’s to AWD PLC becoming the largest IFA firm in Europe. 

Simon joined SJP in 2009 and has continued to act for many of his clients for over 25 years. Working and growing with them whilst providing expert guidance and a consistent approach to investment and objective monitoring via a structured review process. 

He specialises in working closely with accountants and solicitors assisting with the tax planning and mitigation opportunities arising on company disposals. He ensures clients take advantage of all available permitted allowances and deferrals via the use of investment and retirement planning strategies and subsequently creates bespoke tax efficient investment portfolios.
