Adam grew up in Appleby before graduating from Sheffield Hallam University. He started his career by joining a home service insurance company in 1994 and quickly progressed through his qualifications to become a financial adviser. Since then, he has worked for a national life assurance company and two local accountancy practices, and gained a loyal client following. Adam is a qualified Chartered Financial Planner, providing advice on a wide range of subjects including long-term care.  

Adam still lives locally to Penrith with his wife and 2 sons, out of work his great passion is golf. He has been a member of Appleby Golf Club most of his life, where he holds the course record, was club Captain in 2012, and still serves on the committee.
